Terms of Service for Cairn Harmony

Welcome to Cairn Harmony. By downloading, installing, or using our application on iOS, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service in conjunction with Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA).

1. Data Ownership & Local Device Responsibility

Because Cairn Harmony is built on an offline-first architecture, your records are recorded and encrypted directly inside your device memory. You maintain full ownership and sole responsibility for securing your hardware. When enabling iCloud E2EE synchronization (Cairn Plus / Lifetime Pass), files are secured via your personal Apple ID credentials.

2. Subscriptions & Lifetime Purchase (Plus & Lifetime Pass)

• Free Features: The Money Pillar, including unlimited transaction logging and on-device camera OCR receipt scanning, is completely free forever.
• Premium Capabilities (Plus & Lifetime): Advanced cross-pillar analytics, Focus Screen Time blocking, and multi-device iCloud sync require a subscription to Cairn Plus ($5.99/mo or $35.99/yr) or a one-time Lifetime Pass purchase ($119.99 single payment).
• In-App Purchases via Apple ID: All financial transactions are securely processed through Apple App Store In-App Purchases.
• Automatic Renewal: Subscription plans renew automatically unless cancelled in your Apple ID Account Settings at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current billing cycle. The Lifetime Pass is a single one-time payment with no recurring charges.
• Refund Policy: All billing, payment management, and refund requests are governed directly by Apple App Store policies.

3. Acceptable Use & Prohibited Activities

You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, tamper with, or circumvent payment gates and security mechanisms built into the compiled Cairn Harmony binary. Any abuse may result in termination of service entitlements.

4. Disclaimers

Cairn Harmony provides tools for personal self-organization and lifestyle rhythm awareness. It does not provide medical diagnoses, clinical psychological therapy, or professional financial and investment advice. You remain solely responsible for decisions made based on metrics displayed in the app.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developers of Cairn Harmony shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from device hardware failure, lost Apple ID credentials, or technical issues beyond reasonable control.
